PROTECT YOUR PURCHASE

While major technological advances are very useful, they also come with some drawbacks, such as website cloning, WhatsApp messages, or emails that trick us into believing we're dealing with a specific company when, in reality, a fraud or scam is being orchestrated to induce us to transfer funds to the scammers' bank accounts. This is becoming more common than we realize.

This happens when a scammer impersonates a supplier, sending emails that appear legitimate, as if they were from your supplier, with links to fake websites. The goal is to get you to transfer payment to a bank account that the scammer actually controls, and which is different from the account of the company you believe you're making a secure purchase from.

They even send a fake or manipulated invoice, with a design that looks correct, to the point that the tax information can match almost 100%, with the
difference being that the bank account number doesn't belong to the company from which you intend to buy something, and that small difference can cost you dearly.

How to prevent this type of fraud?

By verifying that the bank account information where you are going to make any advance payment is exactly in the name of Palapas Sintéticas de México S.A.P.I. de C.V.

For this, we suggest a very effective and simple method: make a test transfer of $1 (one peso) and use the receipt issued by the bank to confirm if the account holder's name matches. If so, you can transfer any larger payments safely and reliably.

Palapas Sintéticas de México S.A.P.I. de C.V. is only responsible for payments received in our bank accounts.
